Tough pick but I would probably go with the Explorer. Explorer is the choice for me. The "casualness" of the datejust gets lost when adding a fluted bezel. And fluted bezel only works on a 36mm to my eyes. Doesn't belong on a 41mm imo. If budget is an issue or you’re looking to buy your first Rolex, you can’t go wrong with the Explorer.
